| There aren't a lot of us out there. We're descendents of Abraham who was born in 1774 in Virginia.
He was married to Mary Curl (who may have been related to George Washington).
The lineage from Abraham to my family is Adam, Adam Wallace, Sigel, Glenn,
Wallace, Steve (myself), and Sawyer. Adam moved from Ohio to the Homer, IL area, where most descendents still remain.
It seems as if not much is known about the Yeazels prior to Abraham. I've
heard we're from Germany, but there's also speculation that we're Dutch and the
name was changed upon arrival to the US. I'd be very interested in any
knowledge others may have! |
